Todays Mohalla of Kraltaing Sopore, which is providing an educational setup to the present and future generation, is a well populated, centrally placed small hamlet of Sopore constituency surrounded by a cluster of about 20 Mohalla's with a total population of about 1.00 lac. It is situated 50 kms north of Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir state.

It is well connected by metallic roads and link roads besides having all the basic facilities like hospital, Govt. and private run schools, veterinary, horticulture, post office, Banks, Police Stations and other Govt. related departments. It is flanked on its east by famous "Wullar Lake" on west by the boundaries of district Kupwara on south by Apple Town Sopore and on north by Bandipora town. Apple Orchids and paddy fields add a serene esthetics to the Town Sopore. Its vast expanse of paddy fields is irrigated by the famous Zainagair canal built in 1932 by King Zain-ul-Aabidin (Budshah).

MAIN AIM

The main aim is to equip young generation with the latest scientific and technological awareness and know how. Sincere efforts are going to be made to impart integrated modern scientific and religious education through state-of-the-art teaching methodologies and tools. Efforts are to be made to provide all the modern basic facilities like spacious and airy classrooms, laboratories, update library, bathrooms, audio-visual teaching aids, Children Park, hostel facilities, transport and other allied services which a modern school must have. We wish to take the school to Secondary School level.
